Really interesting and winding tale. With so many variables that include theory, confirmation bias (a huge thing that needs to be accounted for in any research), psychosomatic symptoms which can led to feedback loop, pandemic isolation, etc.
And while the specific Neurologist really seems sincere, there is clearly a co-dependency that developed.
