I enjoy that he “thinks” it’s a Cervelo, but manages to spell that wrong, despite the fact that Cervelo is rather prominently displayed right there on the bike. Put your ass on some class indeed.

So is there a way we can feel this himout, and get him if it’s stolen? I thought about emailing him to ask about the serial number, etc, but it might just make him take the ad down.

that’s a pretty good story and believable. Additionally, the dumbasses I knew in college that ogle’d my bikes would likely have tried to sell a water bottle for a few extra bucks to buy some beers. If anyone feels this out, I’d love to hear the story.

Sounds totally legit. I also gave my friend a $2000 bike when I was done with college because he bailed me out of jail once.
If anyone knows how this turns out, keep us updated. Hopefully, someone gets their stolen bike returned to them.
If someone does manage to physically check this out, just get the serial number and e-mail Cervelo with it. They’ll likely be able to see what shop it’s from and who it got sold to.
Seriously guys, don’t tip him off. Instead have someone get the guy’s home address, and the bike’s serial number.
