Someone help me out!

So I normally wouldn’t do this, but I figured I need to take my chances, there might be ONE person who could change the way things are for me right now. I am a struggling collegiate triathlete (graduating in may, ran in college for a year) who has aspirations of going 4:10-4:15 in a HIM this summer and getting my Elite Card in triathlon. My training and some road races and TTs I have done (1:14 half mary the other weekend) have me very optimistic about this goal. I have no support from my parents and sandwich training around my two jobs which ALL money goes towards paying my rent and food and school for. I ride an entry level road bike with clipons and have averaged over 23.5 mph on them in a couple of HIMs last summer and a bunch of olys that I have come in right under an hour (for the bike leg). If ANYONE has ANYTHING (specifically a carbon TT/Tri bike and/or frame, I am 5’10 btw) that they have laying around that they would like to get rid of (donate) or sell for very cheap to me I would be absolutely indebted to them for it!! I know this might not be the proudest thing I have ever done in asking for help, and this post might even be deleted (PS i dont have enough posts to put this in the classifieds), and that I might be ridiculed and talked down upon, but I have several races coming up (most importantly Elite Duathlon Nationals in Alabama before my 70.3 season starts) and this is me asking someone to invest in me or help me out!! I am not a troll making stuff up, please PM me for details/race schedule, i don’t want to put everything out on this post!! Thank you to all who take this seriously and hopefully someone will help me out!! I know there are many ppl in my situation, and can relate to me, but I figure I will turn to my fellow slowtwitchers because deep down I have a feeling someone will be able to help me out!! Triathlon is such a rediculously expensive sport, sponsors are far and few to come across unless you are winning big races, and I struggle to buy enough food to get me through training, yet alone race fees and such. Many times I have been close to throwing in the towel, but deep down I think I can one day be able to get a decent job and juggle that with pro tri training. Thanks to all who read and take this seriously and good luck to everyone training!!!

If those pictures you have in your profile are you…try selling your bling.

go on ebay

get a leader frame

transfer your current parts to it

borrow some race wheels on race day
.

You really can’t afford the $310 for the frame & fork cerveloguy suggested the last time you asked this question?

student. loan. take advantage while you’re still in school.

<------- 23 years old…works 3 jobs…does triathlons (competitively)…saved enough money for engagement ring while paying rent, while still paying for all my races and travel…sucks it up everyday…no freebies…that’s life buddy…

and yea, food is expensive

and im a teacher

I won’t hate on you for asking this, but it does sound like some people gave you some good advice in a previous thread.

I am in your boat as well and purchased a bike. I am making payments.

P.S. Never thought I’d see someone correlate Lil’ Wayne w/ Tri - even if it is just a screen name.
