Some press and an insight into the Bikesport morning ride

Very nice Tom. I like to see this kind of press in the hopes that non-cyclists take time to read it. Sounds like you have a great are to ride in. Know if you could get rid of the tough winters.

I also noticed you were riding a road bike in the pictures. I ride my Blade most of the time, but when I’m doing a recovery ride or just cruising around with the wife, I ride a Felt Cross bike. I’m curious of your approach. When and why do you use either the road or tri bike?

Dennis

We discourage Tom from riding his Cervelo, Guru, or Cannondale because he goes much too fast on them, there is no draft behind him, and it might encourage others to do the same (ride a TT/tri bike). Now what we should do is have a TT bike only ride some morning. Getting Frankie, Mike, Tom, Gary D, and the rest of the crowd on aero equipement would make the 50 mile trip closer to 2 hours.

Great to see cyclists in the mainstream press, and being well written up. Alwasy good to see favourable press.

Oh, and looking good Tom.

J.

Do you always ride with matching uniforms? Or just when the press is around? (is that the right face for humor?).

I’m on my Look KX Light with Record 10. Very, very nice.

I ride the road bike once in a while, about 1/2 the time, on group rides. The other half I ride my tri bike.

On the group ride yesterday with Aderhold, Geerligs, Mario and Frankie I rode my tri bike and we were killin’ it at over 25 the entire way.
