I’ll try to be positive… Considering the road that Obama is taking the US down, the world will look more like a scene from a Mad Max movie long before we have to ever worry about global warming getting us.

Hey but we haven’t been attacked the whole time he has been in office, that makes him a great President right? thats what you GOPers said about the last guy…except for that first 9/11 attack of course, he got a pass on that one because he’d only been in office for 9 months and hadn’t got the “keeping the country safe” stuff down yet.

Perhaps you can work on this next. Obama Inc. flew the big jet to CO today to sign the bill. The VP took his own jet to the same party. For God’s sake, why can’t they carpool? Why can’t he sign the stupid bill in the rose garden? Tommorow he is flying to AZ to pitch his bill. In this day in age business has to tele-conference instead of have live meetings. Seem like he is sending the wrong signal. Seems kinda stupid if Obama Inc. is going to criticize Big 3 Execs for flying their jet to CD. Did he buy carbon credits? Did Pelosi take Speaker 1 to see the pope?

The clown still thinks he is campaigning. or perhaps he’s been campaigning for so long (really its been his entire career) that he has no clue as to how to actually govern.
It's not a problem, it's a strength. He speaks glibly and in open and even-handed terms (despite what he is actually doing), and this approach is keeping his personal ratings very high. He's much like Hugo Chavez in that he traffics much in people's support of him personally. You saw it in the stimulus bill, polls showed the bill was not popular, republicans took a beating as the difficult party, but Obama's personal numbers stayed very high.
Why is he campaigning? Most of the folks I have spoken to about the bill are decidedly opposed to it and would not be swayed by another Obama speech. I’m guessing that most of the folks attending these events to hear Obama are supporters or perhaps fence-sitters that are leaning toward supporting the bill.
Either way, not sure the cost/benefit of his travel is worth the additional support he may gain. Of course, the more he is out of DC, the less harm he can do as an executive, so in the end having him travel around the country giving stump speeches may not be that bad of an option.

The Prez and V-Prez are never on the same aircraft or in the same vehicle or in the same hotel when traveling.
Never.
Simple safety and protection dictates those moves.
