Some early Interbike pics

Well, before the storm of Interbike visitors.

The next few days this walkway from the Venetian Casino to the Sands Convention Center will be packed.

The registration booths will be busy too

It is all official now

Some booths had only their hanging signs in place

Other spaces were completely empty. This far corner is actually where many of the tri brands usually reside

Louis Garneau was well on the way (their booth is a bit further in the front and companies towards the front get their crates first).

Some companies already had meetings

Hopefully the folks addressed here read these signs

LOL! Early photos all right! Man how I’d like to test ride any number of cool new bikes there down that cool, long hallway

Ah…yes…

Exhibiting in Las Vegas…

Land of the “pay me $500 or I drop this,” forklift driver (and others) shakedown…

Exactly right. I have had too many bad experiences with GES. One year they destroyed a $8000 custom built showbike and i had paid for the insurance. They paid me $50 and said to read the fine print of the contract. they are only responsible for up to $50 per item. If i had it to do again i would have listed every single component as a separate item, and still come up short. the insurance was over $200 for that shipment. What a joke.

This year will be my first year this decade not exhibiting. I’m going to visit customers at their booths instead of them coming to see me (Alpha Q components). I plan to sit in on a few seminars and actually stop to eat lunch every day. I might actually enjoy Interbike this year.
I’m looking forward to it.

Awesome! I’m getting excited!

I am indeed glad that I am on the other side now.
