I’m no fan of Speedplay, but if they work for you that rocks. Hopefully they carry you uphill well, as you’ve got some climbin’ tomorrow.
These are my training pedals - regular Zeros with the short stainless axle. The short stainless is the way to go so that if you have ti-axled racing pedals, the length is the same. The normal stainless axle is marginally longer than the ti-axle, so the q-factor would be different if you switched back and forth.

How the hell do you people keep your speedplays so clean ? I understand that the Op’s are new… but the pinkies? I have a pair of yellows that I pampered for forever (when you’re poor you try to get every last bit of use out of things by keeping them meticously maintained) and they still look like they were shot out of a musket! Maybe it’s sweat corrosion…
I assume the picture was taken when they were new…
