Soloist Carbon - stuck seatpost - broken?

I recently moved from Atlanta to London and my bike arrived with the seatpost jammed so hard into the frame, it simply won’t come out. Assuming that there is a way to get it out (not so sure about this), is the frame integrity in question since it’s a carbon frame (Cervelo soloist carbon) - should i be demanding a new bike from the movers?

Good question G, I would suggest taking it to your nearesr Cervelo dealer and getting them to inspect it. I hope for your sake it is just a case of freeing it, best of luck.

Welcome to England, it will get better from here on

This is not uncommon when you have carbon to carbon. do not try and force it out yourself. A bike shop can wedge it out by securing the bike and using the seat as a lever to get it out. Good luck.

Mine slid down a bit and was jammed.
I googled it, and it was pretty common.
Secure the bike and tap up on the seat, and it should come loose after a few mild taps.

thanks all for the help, i’ll take it in and give see how it goes.
