I was installing a new FSA MegExo BB into my Soloist last night and hit a snag. In order to get the BB in I had to back out the screws that hold the cable guide onto the botom of the BB shell. After installing the BB the screws would not go all the way in without pressing against the BB. Do I have to grind the screws shorter or can I get shorter ones from Cervelo?
I had the same issue and shortened mine with a belt sander and a pair a of vise-grips in a few seconds. or go to the hardware store and buy a metric button head screw for 20 cents.

I had the same problem with my P3. Either cut the screws or go to the hardware store and get a couple of washers.
Cheers!

I just super glue my cable guides to the frame…and to think I saved the weight of 2 screws…
So, it is bad to just run the bare cables along the underside of the bottom bracket shell?
