I’m selling a set of deep carbon Bontrager Aeolus tubular wheels. These are light, very fast and very versatile 700 tubulars, built on Bonti rlxxx carbon rims & 65mm HED carbon fairing (as used with the HED Jet). The rims are a current wider (23mm) design and the fairing is a modern toroidal shape.
The braking surface is in immaculate condition and the carbon shows only a few minor and superficial scratches. There is also a 2mm cosmetic blemish on the front wheel.
These are built with paired bladed spokes on a DT swiss front hub, and a Powertap wireless 2.4 rear hub. The PT hub is the former top-of-the-line model and ANT compatible (no computer included). They come with a near-new bonti rlx tub on the rear and Zipp Tangente tub on the front with 112 miles of use (I can throw in an extra glued spare tub, and then you’re off to the races!). Unfortunately, I don’t know the current mileage.
