Folks, I have too many wheels, and I’m trying to build a new bike, so the aero front wheel is up for sale.
As noted, the Real Design Supersonic 40 is a 40 mm deep front aero wheel. Clincher, 700c, with an aluminum braking surface and a carbon fairing. 20 spoke, advertised as 1613 g for THE SET (can’t find the weight for the front alone).
This wheel was lightly used. I bought it new in April, and rode it only on my road bike for 250-500 miles (probably the lower end, but I’m being conservative). The wheel is in great shape, round and true. It seems sturdy enough for every day use, but has the aero profile to be used as a race wheel.
