I’m selling my SC 9.9. It is in perfect condition and was used for 8 months and one Ironman. The reason why I’m selling is because I’m in the military, posted in europe, deploying, and I won’t be doing a non-drafting tri for another 2 years. By then I’ll want something new.

2011 Trek Speed Concept 9.9 (white/gray/red scheme)

Includes draft box behind seat but not speed box
Aeolus 6.5 Wheelset
Full SRAM RED group (TT900 aluminum shifters not R2C)
172.5 length full size chainring cranks
11-26 cassette in the back
Cobb saddle comes with the bike
The bike also comes with the 60/45 stem and the 100/45 stem.
Pedals are not included

I’m sure there is something that I’m misssing so please ask questions.

There isn’t a scratch on the bike that I know of, and there is a slightly marred sticker on one of the wheels but no damage to the carbon.

This bike is so fast and I love it. When I get back into non-drafting tris I’ll probably just get the same model that year.

I’m asking $6000 for the bike (MSRP $9349.99) or $4200 for the frameset (MSRP is $5039.99)
I’ll sell the wheels seperately only if the frameset is purchased first.

I live in Vicenza, Italy so local pickup would really surprise me. Shipping is included.

I will close the sale when 100% of the payment clears in paypal. The bike will be professionally packed and shipped.

I’m a little sad to see this one go, but I can’t justify letting it sit in the closet for 2+ years unused. Also, I’d prefer that you treat your bikes nicely. I want it to go to a good home.

Bump for pics.

The quark will be replaced by the original SRAM Red crank that has less than 200 miles on it.

The saddle will be replaced by the cobb v flow plus in the last pic it is brand new.

The sticker that is marred is shown. There is no damage to the carbon.

I’ve decided to include the quark ($1700) as well for a total of 7200 bucks. It is an awesome deal and I’d like to sell quickly.

If I were you I’d take it over to Europe and sell it there. Trek & Quark are both US companies and both, the SC & Quark is a lot more expensive over there. You’ll have no trouble getting this sold for cheap over there. Even if you have to buy a bike bag and whatnot it’ll be worth it.

I also don’t really know what forum or market I need to make the bike available to in order to sell it here in Italy. I’ll look around, but if anyone knows where to post it, a post would be much appreciated.
