SOLD: 48cm Griffen Vulcan tri bike, DA9, Rolf Vector Pros, Newby-Fraser special ed

I am sadly parting with my first tri bike, which has always been a little too small for me. The bike is a 2002 model, Paula Newby-Fraser edition, with Dura Ace 9 components, Carbon X Profile Design aero bars, FSA carbon compact crank, Rolf Vector Pro wheels (650c - in great condition - fast and responsive), Michelin Pro 2 Race tires (in good shape). The current Griffen Vulcan tri bike w/DA components sells for over $6k, and the frame design/material has not changed.

Check out the geometry here: http://www.griffenbike.com/bikes/womens.php
Some info about Griffen and their frame material here: http://www.griffenbike.com/tech.php

Bike has nicks and scratches typical of its age, but nothing out of the ordinary. Not crashed, though I fell over once at a stoplight, and that only did damage to my fragile ego. In the interest of full disclosure, I am the second owner - purchased it in 2005 from a triathlete in the Bay Area.

obligatory every other day bump
.

Hi, i am interested in your bike for my girlfriend…Was curoius to hear a little more about the sizing. What is the actualframe size, how tall are you? etc. thanks…
p.s. great photos by the way!

I am 5’5" on a good day. I believe my husband said the top tube measures closer to 47 than 48 cm. It’s technically a 48cm bike according to Griffen. However, this model could have different measurements than their current 48cm, so I can take any measurement you want to make sure it’s clear. Let me know - I also have some local peeps coming to look at it this weekend.

Obligatory Monday morning bump.
