Hi all -
I’ve got a Front & Rear Powertap hub Bontrager X-Lite Aero wheelset. This is the SL wired version (carbon/ALU hub). I have 2 harnesses/mounts, 1 cadence wire (new), computer, HR strap, usb cradle. Front wheel was replaced under warranty less than a year ago. Rear is only 2.5 years old. Have never had problems with the PT hub - no drops whatsoever. Wheels are true and in good shape except for a small dent in the rear rim. This is not on the braking surface and has not affected the trueness of the wheel over the few hundred miles of riding since the dent occurred. Best estimate is the dent is 2-3mm deep. This is a very fast, stiff, and durable wheelset. Shimano freehub, clinchers, and 700c. Bontrager Skewers included.
**edit - I should also mention these wheels are quite aero. I was suprised the first time I rode them at how similar they felt to my H3 front and old PT+wheel cover rear. I did a little testing on the open road, and while the numbers were in favor of the H3/disc combo in cross winds, this wheelset showed faster with a headwind. In neither case were the numbers dramatically different between the 2 sets. Anyway, it was close enough that I didn’t bother using a wheel cover with this set - just ran them as you see them.
**second edit - I thought I had put a few thousand miles on these wheels. After I checked the mileage on the computer, it showed 1465! I guess that’s what having a 2nd child and spending 40 - 50% of your time travelling will get you! So these are pretty lightly used!!
