Software for route design

I am building some routes for our tri club and need to generate maps with turn by turn inst for stragler’s that fall off the back or go shorter. Are there any good software/map programs out there that I can make my route on have the directions printed out?

Microsoft Streets & Trips.

Lets you route however you like, not just point to point like other programs. For work, I have to lay out a lot of “loops” to drive vehicles on. With most other software, it’s hard to create a trip that goes from “Point A” back to “Point A.”

You can get Streets & Trips for $39.95 on sale or $69.95 with a very nice GPS unit that plugs into your laptop (not stand alone). Works very well, and is pretty tightly integrated into Streets & Trips.

Streets & Trips prints out nice maps and turn by turn directions (that can be exported to other programs for easy editing), clear enough that even our executives can follow them most of the time.

www.routeslip.com does exactly that.
