Sodium Phosphate experience?

Anyone have any experience of, and opinions on, the effect, benefits and/or downsides of sodium phosphate usage (something like 5g/day for 4 days) in an isolated pre-race loading phase? (International distance race)

The effects of sodium bicarb on distance runners was the subjet of my Masters thesis. That was a while ago. but we found it didn’t help.

And, the side effects can be not so pleasant. Of course it goes without saying…if you do use it, you will have tested it out in training and in training under near race intensity.
