Well does it ? Anyone know of any steals and deals around of aly P3’s ?
So with the old P3 being deleted with only the P3c avaialble. Does that mean they'll be going cheap?
I’ve seen P3 SL blowouts at several on-line retailers, marked down by around 5-600 greenbacks for complete bikes with DA-10. So right now they’re around 3K, with the non-SL version a couple hundred lower. It’s a little beyond what I want to spend, though, so I’m looking for a little less wheel cut-out.
Have a look for second hand P3’s on ebay. Some former owners may be switching to the carbon model.
where and from who did you hear that the aluminum p3 is done?
is yes, is this the p3sl, the p3, the complete bike, the frameset, or all of them?
As U understood it no P3 aly versions will remain in their line up for '06. Only the P3c would remain. Whether the framest alone would remain I wouldn’t hazard a guess but I’d doubt it.
a few of us were discussing this a couple days back. curious move be cervelo, deleting the aluminum version while it’s still extremely popular. even if the p2c makes the aluminum p3 a bit redundant, there will still be people who don’t want a carbon bike (gasp!) and like the look of the p3. if i were to guess, i think that move will drive the resale of the aluminum p3’s even higher. if you grab one fast, you’ll probably get some deals on dealer closeouts, but come next season, i bet they’re selling used for even more than they are now.
