I’m going back and forth on this. I had sorta decided before my IMLP debacle that 2008 was going to be an IM-less year, but after my DNF, I have this weird desire to do a race next year.
Anyone else thinking about trying to sign up online tomorrow?
Originaly it was a no, but tomorrow it will be a game time decision. I gotta do a lot of selling to the wife for this one. I just do not know if I can let another year go by watching.
I also had a debacle at IMLP and have not made up my mind what to do in 2008.It was important for me to remove the curse of a bad year the next season. In 2004 IMLP I had a dnf so I did IMUK 2005 and did great. In 2007 IMLP everything was going great but had a bad finish, its a tough course.I’m saving up to do IM Germany 2009.This year I think I’m going to do southeast races and go out and do Vineman 70.3 or the full aqua bike I would like to see how fast I could do a IM bike without dealing with a run.
I’m trying to decide if I’m going to. I really want to, but I have a hard time justifying the money. For those of you who have signed up on site at a race, what time do people start lining up? I see that registration is 9-11. I’d like to be near the start of the line so i can get to work as soon as possible. Will getting there at 7 put near the front of the line?
