So whats so wrong with Mavic Cosmics?

Leading on from a few varied opinions recently.

I’ve got a set of 04’s. I got them very cheap and purely use them as a crit wheel or as an emergency alternative to my tri spoke/disc combo. They’re pretty deep (yes they are heavy), have good hubs and accelerate well.

Whats the problem ?

They’re heavy, but they’re pretty good. They might be the winningiest wheels in triathlon, I don’t remember seeing Simon Lessing riding any other kind of wheels for the past years.
