Looks like a bumble bee. I think I like the understated look of nude carbon. But what do I know…my road and tri bikes are both ti.

Yea, I was thinking bumble bee too. Pittsburg Steeler fans and Georgia Tech Yellowjacket alums might favor this color scheme. It is certainly alot better than the current 2005 color scheme.
I’m just not real sure what they are thinking with 3 carbon tri bikes: Seduza, Caliente, and Lucero.
I’ve ridden a few QR’s and have always lusted for one, but if you’re asking about aesthetics alone, there’s just way too much going on here. I have a problem with the wheels, mostly. I haven’t liked the “look” of them on anything I’ve seen so far out of ABG.
Should be popular with Steeler fans, however.
Nice upgrades! I ride an 04 caliente. The orange one with flames I thought the 05s were terribly ugly. This looks nice.
Looks good. I’d like to hear more about the sizing and component spec.

looks identical to the lucero frame minus cosmetic differences?
As my old roommate would say: “She’s not that hot, but don’t get me wrong. You know, I’d do her.”
Not sure that I like those seat-stays, look too fat. But I’m sure they are stiff and aero as all hell.
I think it looks pretty nice, although a little busy. Maybe they could squeeze one more REAL design logo on those wheels.
Anyone ever tried to order a bike unbadged? Or at least minimally so?
what’s it gonna retail for with the real design wheels? and lets say 10 spd/ Duraace
they look similar to the seatstays on my 05 tequilo. And yes, they are stiff and aero as hell. they look real good from behind… which is how i prefer people to view them.
Isn’t that 3799 including wheels and everything we see?
Looks like the same frame as the Seduza. $2999 for the Seduza vs $3799 for the Caliente. Hard to see the spec difference - other then the wheels.
Is it $800 for the Wheels and paint job?
I think it’s pretty awesome! I have an '04 caliente, and I love it. But I’m not sure how the '06 lineage follows. It definitely looks more like a new Lucero. Does anyone know the difference between the new Caliente and the Seduza aside from the wheels/paintjob?
The Seduza and the Caliente are both based on the Lucero design, thus the seatstays are no larger or smaller than on on the Lucero.
The Caliente features the 12K Carbon finish just like the Seduza, but the Caliente has the Real Design Supersonic 60mm wheels and FSA Carbon Pro, while the Seduza has Alex 320 wheels and FSA Gossamer Mega EXO cranks. Both bikes have a blend of Dura-Ace, Ultegra and other components. Let me also assure you that in either case the pics do not do it any justice. They look awesome in person.
Hope this finds you well.

i can’t get past the paint. that looks like a man’s bike.
why doesn’t anyone have pink??
Let me switch for an FSA compact crank and you’ve got a sale. When will we have specifics on sizing & geometry?

Is it just me, or is that the shortest head tube you’ve ever seen? Maybe it’s the perspective of the photo, but that head tube looks REALLY short.
Hi Herbert
The web site seems to indicate they will only be available as complete bike. Any chance framesets will be sold at some point?
Thanks,
Mike
