Not a flame just an observation: What I want to know is why they have that down as a statistic in the first place. Who the hell cares if they are single or not and what relevance does it have to anything for that matter.
In regards to you pointing out that a lot of the ITU triathletes are single; yes they certainly do appear to be so.
A couple of points: Chances are that many/some of them are at that age where they have SOs and being so dedicated and busy at this point are waiting for a slower time period to get married.
There was a statistic lately that less people are getting married and just living single or living with their partners without marriage.
Certainly there are those that don’t understand the dedication it takes to be an elite athlete and may not want to give up “living” for that other person.
Transversely many of those athletes probably just don’t have a lot of extra time for the dating/mating/marriage process.
people obivously want to spend their time training.

everyone’s birthday is also dec 31 1969. mustve been a good year
good point…either they just didn’t want to update anything, or had the status as single by default etc…but I checked several athletes that are married and are listed as single.
probably like the date…everyone is single and born dec 31, 1969
i’ve heard the itu circuit is an absolute scorefest…and is quite incestuous.
