So is there anyway at all to watch the tour over the internet?

No cable, no OLN, and dial-up internet. What are my tour watching options this year?
(On a side note, even if I were to get cable, the package that comes with OLN is the super premium addition, can’t get it.)

Is there anything that can save me?
Help!

I think cyclingnews.com will have live text updates.

There will be live audio on eurosport.com, although I suspect it will be pretty choppy on dialup.

I don’t know of any live video feeds on the internet, but with dialup you’d be pretty much SOL anyway.

I seem to recal that last year there was an internet video feed from a danish media outlet but I do not have the link for it anymore. Of course I would try to watch the video feed on one computer (sound muted) and then would listen to the audio on either Eurosport or OLN but I think so many people were watching the video feed that, bandwidth would get maxed and the video slowly degenerated to a slide show even though the company has dual T1s!

I prefer the velonews.com live update thingee. The cyclingnews window usually doesn’t show @ work.

OLN had a link to live audio last year but no pix. :frowning:

What about Dish Network etc?

If you’re on dial-up forget about watching any video over the internet unless you want to watch it on a one inch screen.

The official web site is fantastic, I prefer that to the TV so I can find out what is happening in the breaks. Has daily commenatries from Liggett etc.
