Yeah, collapsing it would be ok, otherwise make it a link I can go to. Once you’ve digested the events for the month you don’t need to see it again… for a month.
Also the right sidebar they just added is a waste of space and channels the forum content into a narrower box.

Ouch. What else did I complain about? I made a suggestion how to improve the calendar placement. I don’t have a suggestion on the right sidebar but maybe someone else will.
