So I now have a powermeter

I now have a powertap. What does this mean? Well…I have altered my goals as a result of acquiring this piece of technology. My goals are as follows (and I will not accept anything less): To win the Tour de France next year. I have never done a cycle race before, but I see that as a minor hiccup. To win IMH in the fall of next year. To break the world hour record. I have not decided on the venue yet. I will be discussing the logistics with Obree over coffee. I am not sure if this will be in 2006. I may be a biting off a bit too much after winning the TdF and IMH.

Of course, if I don’t succeed at every one of those goals, I will have no choice but to come to the conclusion that power training is not all it’s cracked up to be.

Well, now we clearly have a problem. I just got a PT as well, and the Tour is MINE. Don’t make me come up there…
