Smoothie Recipe

This recipe is in the July issue of Outside magazine and originally from a Chris Carmichael book. I’ve made this smoothie the last couple of weekends and it is a very tasty treat. Enjoy.

1 Banana
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 cup fat free milk
3/4 cup ice
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
2 tablespoons ground wheat germ

Makes two servings. 402 calories, 49 grams carbs, 18 grams protein, 19 grams fat, 14 grams fiber.

Is that regular flaxseed or Barry Bonds - Balco flaxseed? :wink:

I have a kick ass recipe that I LOVE

1.5 cups of Chocolate soy milk
1 scoop strawberry protein powder
4 frozen strawberries
2 tblspoons flax oil

and you can throw in some blueberries and raspberries too. The frozen berries give it a milkshake consistency. It’s the bees knees. :wink:
