SmartArse coach and Monk you were right - I am full of BS

As you said my fire place is not from 1784 or whatever. It is from 1884. I just found this while I bending down licking my new commuting bike:

So, how does your bike taste? While you are down there… lol give your fireplace a lick too… hahaha j/k

Isn’t that just when the patent was registered? Not when the fireplace was built.

I suppose you right. I don’t know. The house is very old. The bike tastes good, a bit sour, a bit salty, slightly fishy, warm, and a bit moist (it was a bit rainy when I cycled earlier).

Sounds as if you are describing a few women I have tasted.

that looks like the grate…highly unlikely that the grate and the fireplace are an original pair. Those pesky Victorians couldn’t leave anything alone.

The tiling looks late Victorian or Edwardian; turn of the century.

OHhhhhh 1884… isn’t worth a thing then :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks Pedro. I always knew you have the potential to make it as a good property surveyor. The bike has neen taken off from the fireplace as we speak. I have been told off.
