So I decided to challenge armytriguy to another race. It wouldn’t be fair play to challenge him to a race in which I may have an advantage (say a race with a swim), so I chose the Lighter Than Air Duathlon at the Naval Air Station in Lakehurst, NJ (http://www.raceforum.com/08/lighter.pdf). This race has more biking (20 miles vs ~18) and less running (~5mi vs 10K) than the Brandywine Duathlon, so it should be more suited to armytriguy’s bike strength. Not to mention being on a military base, which should make him feel right at home.
Armytriguy accepted the challenge, so the race is on for this Sunday. Game on!
