Slowtwitchers generosity -thank you

Thank you all who have donated to the bike project I posted a week or two ago. Thomas is the guy I am building the bike for.

The local newspaper has an article on Thomas and his fiance Savana in today’s paper. Their wedding was supposed to be June 19th, this coming Saturday. The article is titled “On a Wedding Day Missed, Faith, Hope, and Love”

“Instead of getting married Saturday, she’ll probably be at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, if they haven’t moved her to a nursing home. He’ll probably spend a lot of time with her that day. He’ll probably kiss her forehead as he always does, her nose, her cheeks and her hands.
He tries to stay away from her lips, because he doesn’t want her to get sick.”

Be sure to watch the video at the bottom of the article.

I am still looking for a few parts if you would like to donate to this project. What I still need are 10sp shimano derailleurs, a 10sp shimano compatible cassette, 10sp chain. I have most everything else either from my stash of old parts or from generous slowtwitch donations.

So far I have:
Giant TCR-1 Aluminum frame/fork (repainting with custom paintjob)
Vuelta Airplane wheelset-tires are old
Cinelli bars/stem
Ultegra 10sp shifter/brake levers
FSA Carbon crankset
Shimano 600 dual pivot brakes
Kalloy seatpost
Brake/Shifter cables
Shimano SPD-R pedals

Wow. They’re in my prayers. They sound like an amazing young couple who have giant hearts and wanted to reach the world.
