Sweet, sweet
.
Tweet, Tweet?
who is doing the tweeting?
Until yesterday it was actually a North California ultra distance runner who was tweeting on that account here and there. But for several months the account was basically just parked. Even though his tweets were protected we were able to get in touch with him and he was kind enough to let us have the account, so now slowtwitch is doing the tweeting. ![]()
so now slowtwitch is doing the tweeting. ![]()
so by “slowtwitch” you mean theres a group of people posting?
it’s herbert. but i’m sore tempted to give it to tibbs.
I can only imagine what Tibbs would do with that. Haha!
+1 vote to hand the reins to Tibbs for a while. All respect to Herbert, of course.
following!
I’m bquigley if anyone wants to follow my boring ass life.
On his good days, Tibbs comments, while offbeat, are remarkably insightful.

Ok, I’m following - now I can waste even more of my very valuable time at work.
Slowman is not quite correct here. I indeed initiated getting this twitter account and populated it so we had some tweets to start with, but we all have access.
But maybe I misunderstood slowman and it wasn’t a comment, but an order. ![]()
Hey guys. For now, stay off of the Twitter website. If you can, use third party clients such as Twhirl/Digsby etc. They are having cross-site scripting attacks on Twitter now that they are dealing with.
This week several pros have jumped on twitter
Ain-Alar Juhanson http://twitter.com/ainalar
Jan Frodeno http://twitter.com/janfrodeno
Tim O’Donnell http://twitter.com/TOintri
.
Matt,
I feel in a strange way that I was able to get on-board early enough with Twitter to use my own name as a username. Other than Slowtwitch, I don’t recall that happening elsewhere.
FWIW - you can follow my completely boring existence here: http://twitter.com/stevefleck
The whole Lance-On-Twitter thing has been pretty cool. Say what you want about him - Matt you’ll get it that he’s probably one of the savviest marketers out there.
Herbert,
Great. Hopefully these guys won’t fall into the trap of many other Pros and just start logging their workouts on Twitter
“100mile ride. Sunny. Felt great”
That’s must know stuff! ![]()
Happy #followfriday everybody
.
Herbert this is great! I also saw that you had a http://twitter.com/slowtwitchlive account which is a great idea. I think that will be a much better way of keeping track of live races in a filtered way. Too bad we didn’t have twitter back when dan was running around in a truck commenting on the 101 races…
