I have a profile up on LinkedIn, and from time to time the web site offers up the name of someone I may know and may want to connect with. Not sure how it figures it all out, but today it offered up the name of someone from Slowtwitch who owns a bike shop in Indianapolis. We share no LinkedIn connections in common, we’ve never exchanged e-mail messages, and the only connection I have been able to locate are posts on Slowtwitch - I replied to one of his posts back in 2005, and he replied to one of mine in 2006.
The connection has to be those posts, but how did LinkedIn know to connect us? Has anyone else notice slowtwitchers appearing in their LinkedIn profile?
