Just wondering if any formal/informal gathering is planned for slowtwitchers at the Oceanside? Who’s is in?

I’m still debating coming out to watch and take photos. I’ll keep an eye on this thread just in case I do make it out.
In years past, we’ve done meetings. ‘06, it was at the Rockin’ Lobster at the Harbor. '08, we met at the base of the Pier just to put names to faces. Pretty short meeting, but nice to see people. We’ll see who chimes in.
I’ll be there doing the back up timing and helping at the swim start. Just find a tall good looking guy with great hair…and then ask him to point me out.
I’m racing again, Kylie is cheering, we’ll be down there Friday afternoon. We met a bunch of ST’ers at the pier on Friday a couple years ago.
I’m racing, coming out from the east coast to visit family and to race. I can’t wait. I’ll be hanging out with my pops, and bros though. So no ST gathering for me.

I’ll probably be able to make it. Lets make it at a time when we can do packet pickup too. I’m coming in from Del Mar. I’m already all nervous for this race and it’s still 2+ weeks away!

Ok, executive decision time. Last year we met at the main entrance to the expo. Assuming the expo is set up as it was in the past…
Let’s meet just inside the main expo entrance, the one that’s on the strand/path and faces the ocean. 3:00PM on Friday. Last year there was a big Gatorade bottle and a coffee/food cart there.
Hopefully that time/location works for most everyone. See you there!
