Here’s my list of people that I read almost all posts by:
Slowman: He created this place, so without him this debate doesn’t happen. He also posts so rarely, you’ve got to check it out.
Tom Demerly: In addition to being product-knowledgable and passing along lots of inside tech-info, he seems to really embrace the whole multisport lifestyle.
Frank Day: Love PC’s or hate them, they are an innovation, and Frank is an innovator. He also competed in the very first ironman triathlon. That’s old-school style.
Gerard: Another innovator. Plus, his bike makes me faster.
Mike Plumb: My coach. You rule Mike.
Francois: He’s into the maths. And he lives my dream of being a professor AND carrying a pro card.
You’ve gotta be kidding, Tibbs. I’m sure that anybody who has read this forum for more than six months knows who the cool kids are…and aren’t. The only reason its never come up in a rant is that people probably prefer not to get hammered on and/or shunned. I’m already shunned, so I’ll pass on the hammering, myself.
Rather, let’s pose three questions that might help.
Do people respond to you enthusiastically, regardless of how stupid, ridiculous, or irrelevant your posts are?
Do people ignore your posts, regardless of how pertinent they are to the sport of triathlon?
Do people go out of their way to be nicer to, or at least more tolerant of, you than they are of most other posters on the forum?

Its cool “kids”. I am old enough to be your daddy. In fact…I probably am. And I am not cool. And not much fun to be around. And I don’t know much about anything. And sometimes I start fights.
I am sort of a cross between Tibbs and SlayerHatebreed.
