The webmaster of this site was spotted running in the San Gabriel Mtns(where he lives) training on the rugged trails with Swede phenom, Jonas Colting. This guy is no bullshit. Although he does not have the youth he once did, while carrying 10 pounds more than he should, Slowman is not that slow. As most pro athletes protect their egos, they do not give many compliments to lesser athletes, Colting succumed to Big “C” Dan and let him know that he was working.
I invite anyone to come visit his training establishment and put the screws to him. THere may be a Gabresalassie or Tergat that may look him look silly on a visit to Vayermo, but they will ultimatley get lost in the mtns…
I live in June Gloom San Diego and come up once every 2 weeks. For those of you that want a challenge, while having the time, $$, and adventure in you, get your asses up here and get the wrath of notsoSlowman.
I think he is a little tired from his double run with the Swede from yesterday, so I am signing off to go put him in the pain locker on the hogs.
I’ll be hanging on by a thread during the 5-day camp next week! Dan is too modest of his abilities.

Shari…I suggest that you bring a bungie cord for the run. However, he will need a tow rope to stay close to you on the hog.

I wish I could come out, and even more so to keep up with the likes of you guys! I am way too busy but I will be out soon. My whole family lives out there (I grew up in Hunt beach) so I go often. I will definitely let you know and we will hook up. Thanks for the compliments and I hear good things about you as well.

You ought to see Slowman in the pool. I swam with Jonas and Dan on Tuesday night at Santa Clarita Masters and now I know why I was in the end (slow) lane. It will be great at Ralphs on Sat. I just hope Jonas finds some sunscreen by then because he was absolutely baked from his afternoon ride in the mountains.
