I know the deal with the polls, and think it is a great idea.
But, with the current poll I think that some sort of qualifier would be needed. With the custom folks they can all build you a custom, and all can build you a great bike - no question about that. What is outstanding is the price factor. Would I prefer a custom 6/4 Ti Lynskey over an Al Elite…for lust factor maybe. Fact is I could probably get two Elites and a trip out to see David for the price of one Lynskey, or Parlee or many other frame.
Possibly the question would be more qualified if there was a dollar figure involved, or “of the bikes you can afford” what one of these would you pick. There is such a spectrum of dollars there that it is IMO just not a qualified question.
