Cool - I have my own thread on Slowtwitch and thanks (I think) for the comments on my running form. I guess it fits in with my stealth mode by deceiving other competitors. It was great fun running with Lisa. We stuck together for 10 miles or so but she managed to gap me by a few hundred meters over the last 3 miles.

How much swimming do you do to maintain your relatively consistent one hour IM swim? If I may ask, how much running do you do, and at what intensity?

I was out there officiating at IMC and was watching the pros very carefully and still didn’t notice Courtney’s PCs. I only learned about it afterwards when reading a thread on this site. He was riding so smoothly and powerfully that you just didn’t think to look at his cranks. Another testament to how well they work - and the fastest bike split there was also testament. Keep up the good work Frank.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get that in the US and it looks like we won’t get it. If anyone has a tape of it I would love to see it. Did the commentators mention what was going on or did you have to notice and know what was going on?

Frank, I’m starting to fall for all your anecdotal evidence! God knows I need help with my running and I’d love it if I could get that help without the pounding of actually running more. How much are these PCs?
I do not have it on tape, but i can try to tape it off of my PVR. I will see if i can get techy with my set up.
Yeah he was coasting on a downhill a bit and i noticed right away, of course i already knew he was using them so i was wathing for anything, i think the commentators were oblivious to it. Standing up relaxing for a moment with both pedals at the bottom, was a sight fo shu.

Depends on what you get. They start at $899 now. We do have a few close-out models (ISIS adapters only I think) left starting at $699.
