Slotted forks by Oval Concepts - genius or junk?

Anyone riding these and has anyone seen any reviews (other than marketing propaganda) regarding Oval’s slotted forks? Apologies if this has been covered before. Any help is appreciated - thanks

I seem to remember similar technology being tried on yacht masts. It did not take off.
