Slipstream-bars

Why are they not using the devox? Has this been discussed before?

They are sponsored by 3T. I would imagine that because 3T makes mainly bars, stems, seatposts, and forks, and because their Felt bicycles have integrated forks and stems which don’t allow for use of a 3T product, that they chose to use the one thing on the TT bikes that they could to please a sponsor. I’m assuming they used the Brezza because the Ventus has an integrated stem?

Bingo!

3T is their supplier, so along with the road bars and road stems, they’ll have the TT products on there. The Devox bars were occasionally used last year in the development stages of the product and guys liked them, but footing the bill for bikes *and *components is a costly one. These guys will be getting some special bits on the front of their TT bikes with additioanl integration by the time the Grand Tours start. The Thomson seatposts are a placeholder for now until 3T finishes their rear-offset post as some of these guys run 9-11cm of saddle offset and the Doric does not get them in the position they require. I was suprised to see DZ running the standard position post on his bke, he must be right at 5cm on his 54cm DA. I’m lusting for Svein’s Maple Leaf custom paintjob!
