Slipping saddle on P2K

Is there some trick I’m missing? That three-sided thing under the saddle is what is supposed to clamp the saddle, and the other bolt is used to adjust the tilt, right? I thought I tightened that as much as possible, but my saddle slowly slid backwards during a long ride.

Just redid the brake cables to go through each wing on my A700. That was not a lot of fun.

They both clamp the saddle and adjust the tilt. Make sure both bolts are tight.

How did you route the outer cables? Best way is to run the inners through the bar first, then use the inners as a guide to route the outers. Then remove the inner cables and cut the outer cables to length.

I got the saddle to the position and tilt that I wanted. Then I loosened the bolt and counted the number of turns that I used to loosen it. Next, I tightened the 3-sided thing fairly tight. Finally, I retightened the bolt by the same number of turns.

I routed them as you described, by running the wire through first. It was fishing the damned wire out that was annoying. At one point, I had my 6 year old daughter holding the flashlight for me.

Thanks for the info on both bolts. I’ll check the tilt bolt tonight. Hopefully, it’s loose!
