Slice Deals

Just saw this and not sure if anyone else posted it. Good deals on Slices

Pretty Cool!

yeah, we have a p2 for my fiance and it fits nice, tried the Slice as well. Still unsure of the fit but it is a good deal.

Yeah I’ll trying to get my girl friend on a slice even though she is on a roo right now and isn’t liken it…

nice find!

Is the HiMod $1000 better than the regular Rival slice?

I’m torn because I can get a 2011 Specialized Transition Pro for the same price at my local shop. Both seem to fit me good enough…

Anyone know? Better rims, but is the frame $800 better?

since the frame is changed everybody is getting rid of the stock. check your local shops you might find a good deal there too.

It’s lighter, but everyone here knows weight doesn’t matter  The shape is the same.

Asad

my theory: instead of counting the ounces of the bike, count the ounces of the rider.

the frame changed to what? the Super Slice, i went to my local trishop in Scottsdale, AZ. and they told me they had NO word on when they were getting or if they were even getting a Super Slice…

Plus, i saw someone posted a 2012 Cannondale Slice, that came in black and white, without the red accents, also no HI-Mod for the 2012 Slice.

So the frame changed, but it sounds like the Super Slice wont arrive till end of 2012, any confirmation on this?

and…doesnt the world end like on Dec. 21st 2012 Anyway?
.

Get the Transition Pro
.

You are absolutely right mate, the 2012 Slice is NOT the so called super slice seen at the Giro. I’ve already posted ads for the 2012 model, which as you say is the black and white version of the 2011 version. The current slice was still used just last week a the Vuelta. I have no doubt the Giro model will come out sometime, but I would guess it will either only be a high end version or later next year. Makes this deal look even better.

it’s as simple as Cannondale dumping off 2011 inventory…regardless of the Super Slice’s ETA. they were/are probably heavy and starting wheelin’ and dealin’ with bigger dealers to unload old stock. they are great bikes either way and killer deals.

i expect the Super Slice will be delayed for a while after any delivery dates you might be hearing now.

Wow, $1399 for a fully built Slice 5 is a screaming deal. That’s about as much bang for your buck as you can get in tri bikes. Buy some used race wheels and you have a damn fast bike for under $2000. The 105 components certainly aren’t going to slow you down any.

Nice deal. I’d be tempted to get the 1399 model, but they want over $200 for shipping to Canada… :frowning:
And its via FedEx, so import tax and brokerage as well…shitty…

Which one of those Slice bikes is comparable to a Cervelo P2?

And how does the Slice 5 compare to a P2?

Thanks.

Thanks for posting this! Did a 5 hour ride on the Slice, love it!!!

The slice 5 is a tall/narrow fit. The P2 is a more medium fit.

That is all you need to know. If it doesn’t fit you, don’t buy it.

Damn… I’m 6’3’'. Gonna try the Cervelo out at the end of this month though and see how it fits me.
