Sleeveless Wetsuits

Is there much difference between the entry level and the top level sleeveless wetsuits?

I’m going to get one as I find full suits too constricting and I can’t “feel” the water with my catch as well.

I’ve had full suits in the past and most of the technology and therefore extra cost is in the shoulders and arms. However, sleeveless have neither of these so wondering why they have such big price differences in the sleeveless also.

Personally I’d say “no”. The price of the sleeveless wetsuits is usually related to the equivalent sleeved version. The higher end suits have better paneling and higher quality rubber, but this is a lot less important given the reduced stroke restriction. The speed of the coating is pretty much the same across most lines.

So it’s just another marketing ploy that they use to spend more money even though there is no noticeable difference in performance.

Great for me! I’m off to buy an entry level sleeveless!

Sleeveless wetsuits are slower than full wetsuits.
