After about 1000 miles I’m comfortable posting a pic of my baby. I know some shops have posted theirs post-build, but I wanted to wait until I had ridden it for a bit. She was not cheap but after some time in the saddle all the buyer’s remorse about the price has faded into oblivion. I came off a Soloist Team, and this bike must be 4 pounds lighter and much much stiffer in the BB. I’m 175 lbs and there is no BB swing on a trainer at all (and no this will not be on a trainer except for when I built it up.) In my first few rides I routinely popped the rear wheel off the ground when climbing out of the saddle, it forced me to smooth out my stroke. I didnt test ride an R3 but this is very comfortable, no road buzz. And the Sram Force is surprisingly good too, I was worried about the trimless front but have had no issues crossing up big to big. My only complaint with my build is the Ksyrium ES wheels are a bit flexier than my old Elites or even Zipp 404s. I felt it in the front end when climbing out of the saddle the first time. But i’ve gotten used to the sensation. Enjoy!

I dont own a good scale but it’s approx 15 lbs.
Sweet ride. I ran my shifting cables the opposite way(campy not sram) on my SLC-SL. I found that they rubbed the paint off of the frame when they are run the traditional way. There are two well worn spots on my SLC from the rub. But I figured after I did that that the “no paint, just clearcoat” might not show rubs on the black.
For your rear wheel lift, you might be too low on the front. Fabian looks good like that, but it forces lots of weight forward when you are out of the saddle, sometimes creating dangerous wheel bouncing for the guys behind you.
I’ve got 606 tubies but they’re still on the P2C from my race this weekend. It definitely looks better with the 606s but i dont usually ride it that way - I figured I would post it as-is. Regarding the comments on my drop, I’m a bit of a freak with long arms & legs (36.5 inches floor to crotch) and short torso. So this isnt really out of scope since the head tube on the bike is 180mm and I get another 1cm or so with the FSA headset cap. Plus its an 11cm stem. I can ride in the drops no prob.
oh yeah and thats where I get to swim every morning… me & the ducks
I’ve got the same frame with a very similar build. SRAM force, nokon cables, 135g saddle, FSA bars & stem. I have a DA SRM crank and Zipp 303 cyclocross tubular wheels (they double as my road training wheels). It weighs in at 14.9 lbs with Look Keo pedals with chromoly axles. I could shave 2 lbs off the bike wihtout much difficulty. I’ve been road racing for 20 years and have been on a lot of bikes and it is by far the best I’ve ever owned. I love it.
