So, after being somewhat stressed at work recently, I decided to call in sick today. I was actually not feeling well the last few days, but I’m better today. Today is looking to be more of a “mental health” day than a true sick day, but I need it either way.
My plans for the day are to do some PT, clean my bathroom, and watch Batman Begins. That’s it. I’m skipping my workout and right now I’m just sitting on my couch watching Regis and Hot Girl Of The Month on TV (Heather Lockleer just came on and I think she looks better at 40 than she did at 25). Today is going to be great.
But, since today isn’t over yet, what else should I do today to enjoy my day off?
No, I swam 5000m between Sunday and Monday, started lifting weights again on Tuesday, did some aquajogging and basically I’m exhausted. Today is a total rest day; no workouts!
get stoned out of your mind, eat mexican food and drink beer on a patio (preferably in Mexico) until you get to the point where your next phone call to work is your last. Have a nice weekend.
if you have to ask how to enjoy your day off, then clearly you aren’t getting enough days off!!!
order pizza and hot wings and then go lay in the sun. around 5 pm get a sixer of your favorite cold beer and continue to sit outside with it in a bucket of ice.
if you don’t like that idea then go on a nature hike, order pizza when you come home and have a big ass glass of cold lemonade. hmmmm…that’s good stuff.
