I realize skin cooler is de sotos stuff, but im wondering if anyone knows where I can buy something similar to this but with long sleeves, Im out riding pretty much every day now, the sun is blasting me. If anyone knows where I might find something like that for riding, let me know!!! that would be awesome.
p.s.
Emilio, you should make a long sleeve skin cooler bike jersey!!!, I would buy it.
I wear a long sleeved under armour heat gear compression fit top(with desoto tri shorts, of course). Im not sure what skin cooling tops are like but i havent found a top that works better in this ridiculous heat/humidity in the summer here in Fl. They are only around $35, some people might not like going without pockets though…
I figured a top as such would cost me some speed on the bike, but at both my IMs, I got a wicked, wicked, wicked burn, I think that probably slowed me down some on the run. Maybe the under armour top is tight enough. The cool wings are neat and all, but when I see people with them, they seem loose in the back, seems like that would create quite a bit of drag.
The only company that I know that made Long Sleeve Summer Jerseys was Bergamo. However, they discontinued those for 2007. If you happen to find a company making those please post because I would like to get a couple more.
Have you tried the arm coolers by de soto? My husband bought these for me last year (made just like arm warmers). I thought they were kind of silly but I was sort of obligated to try them. They do seem to work and they do stop the sunburn.
The stuff these other people are suggesting are nice products, but they don’t do what our Skin Cooler fabric does.

The next evolution of Arm Coolers! Turn any sleeveless jersey into a long sleeve and stay cooler dong so!
The Coolwings cover your shoulders, lower neck, and arms when wearing almost any sleeveless top. Easy to put on and remove, it is made of Skin Cooler™ Stretch (see Fabric Facts). They block 75% of UVB rays.
That’s kind of a funny ad - it talks about blocking sunlight and UV . . . . and then says it has reflective piping! Duh - if I’m buying this because I’m worried about the sun, do I really need reflective piping?
