I don’t think so. I also don’t think anybody will blame you if you initiate one! Vamos! I’m not watching live from the beginning so I won’t.
I’m just watching the swim live, and then I’m going to sleep, but knowing my bladder and prostate, I’ll be up in about 2-3 hours ![]()

Surprised LCB gapped Jess so quickly.
Ikr? I wasn’t expecting that. I think every time I’ve seen them both start, Jess was always able to hang on.
Huge group behind the top 3. Paula, Kat, Lovseth, Salthouse, Bogan, GTB all about 2ish minutes back. There were ~10 more in that big group.
Lucy lead out of the swim with Jess and Taylor about 50 seconds behind.
Lucy struggled maybe 10 seconds (?) in T1 fighting to get one of her bike gloves on, when finally done took the other in her mouth and went out on the course (getting that one on while riding). I wonder how much she gains aerowise from using them? Or is it for comfort?
Hayden was breathing through his nose in all races.he was not doing a bit more than he neeed ( and of course jelle is a super athlete but just like in world Tri where Hayden and Alex and now maybe Hauser are a step above the rest it was the same this year at middle distance ( and Hayden learned quickly from his 70.3 Taupo blunder )
Probably for comfort, it was somewhat chilly race morning. I actually brought arm sleeves and gloves just in case but ended up not using them.
Yeah, cause Hayden is such a big dude in comparison!
