Anyone else get this overnight and this morning? I could access most other features of the site but the forums showed a 502. Last Sunday access was blocked temporarily also. And I know it’s slow in general.

Did anyone hear that helicopter last night? Why are they flying at 10pm?

lol I see what you’re saying but this is more trying to find out if there’s bigger site issues going on due to a lot of, not insignificant, back to back to back server errors. In all my time here I don’t remember anything like this, especially going on a week.
Then again, the mods or owners don’t owe me an explanation at all. I realize my initial post was more just hoping everything is ok.
Were those gunshots or fireworks?

We live around a kilometer away from a hospital with a helipad. Helicopters coming in hot in the middle of the night are common. Sometimes of they come in particularly low you think there is a reenactment of the osama bin laden raid going on outside.
Every God damn time someone on next door is asking these questions.
Bin Laden raid used stealth/quiet helicopters, just saying
Or complaining about their neighbor’s garbage cans. “The cans are still out by the curb and they should have been put away an hour ago. Who can I talk to about this?”
Nothing stealthy about crashing on the front lawn.
Eta all jokes aside I was under the impression they were still fairly loud, just quieter than a standard Blackhawk and harder to detect with radar.

Yeah, I lasted about a week on that app.
Between the helicopter nonsense and posts like you described I can’t see any value in it whatsoever.
