Dunno if this is ofn, but I read read on Xtri that Lessing has confirmed his participation in IMLP in July. That answers the “where will he qualify?” question.
“Inside Triathlon” hosted an on-line chat with Dave Scott last week. It seems like Dave and Simon are training partners, and Dave offers some coaching, etc.
Dave did say that Simon will race IM Lake Placid to fine tune his nutrition and pacing.
Qualifying probably isn’t an issue for someone of Lessings stature in the sport.
