Silverman computrainer course

Does anyone have the Silverman course broken down into parts? I downloaded the one off the website, but the data is all together so I can’t figure out how to break it down into separate courses. I live in flatland USA so I want to use the actual course for hill training but I don’t want to keep starting at the beginning.

Thanks for any help.

Why don’t you just put in about 50 miles at a 6% upgrade and 20 mph head wind and ride that. that should get you ready for that course.

I love my CT but I am not at all sure grinding out Silverman on the trainer is the way to train for it: 1) I think it is an acknowledged fact that hills on the CT are worse than they are in real life. 2) I don’t like the feel of the CT much above 5% but that’s just me – but think about it. 3) Heavy interval training on the CT is about the same as hill training or is hill training. 4) Do you have a coach who can opine? 5) There is a way to save the course and then start where you ended the last session but it escapes me at the moment. Do a search. Its on here somewhere. Best.

On a CompuTrainer, if you have the current software, you can start at any point on the course you want…

Thanks - found the link here http://68.115.203.26/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=718&highlight=start+middle+course

No coach - I’m doing this on my own. That’s part of the fun afterall. I am doing interval training as well, but noticed the Silverman course is all over the place from 6 to 15% so I didn’t want any surprises. I just love it when the computrainer grade starts spinning from -15% to +15%, then starts going down and pops right back up to 15%. Lovely course!

Thanks everyone.
