Sidi Shoe fit

Hey guys,

My shop only carries the Genius 4 and the Iron/Zeta shoe, and i want to order in the Energy model. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but I found the two shoes fit differently. I take a 44 in the three strap closure Iron, and a 43 in the Genius 4…Does anyone have specfic experience with the fit of the genius 4 relative to the energy? For reference sake (if anyone has the same shoes etc) I have ridden and like my pair of shimano R200 somethings from around 2001, the yellow black and silver ones with the 3 velcro strap closure and the carbon based nylon sole.

it really surprises me to hear you say the fit was different. Usually Sidi’s are balls-on accurate. I’ve never experienced that problem with a special order.

I would go with the Genius sizing…the Energy is almost the exact same shoe, but different closure system across the instep and toe. I went from a Genius to an Energy two years ago, and I wear the exact same size.
