but I like it. I reduced two fixies down to this bike… my fixie pursuit frame I never got comfy on and my panasonic road fixie.
now I swap wheels and bars/front brake and go down the road.
nice litte project inspired by sinkhansens pista concept. couple of details left between now and next thursday (lower headset top cap, longer extensions etc, srm harness, etc).
Greg, the top of that headset is two pieces, you can just use the lower piece w/o the conical top spacer if you want to get lower. The headset we designed has that feature.
An no, SD does not equal Mr. Felt.
SD = Dave Koesel, Jim Felt = Mr. Felt.
Awesome pic, I’ve got a similar build using the old aluminum B2 frame with our BMX dropouts welded to it, I’ve used it locally at some of the flat TTs and once up Santiago Canyon TT (1000+ feet in 20km!)
Fixed TT is a good time! What does the SRM do when you packpedal? Can you go negative watts?

that is awesome… I didn’t notice when building it as I guess there was a little oil and the parts stuck together! THANKS!

I didn’t mean literally, more figuratively (especially in the forum) as in you speak for Felt bicycles…

first real run on thursday, weather (wind) permitting. looking forward to running the correct gearing (finally) after about 2-3 tries to get it right. final gear - 48x14t.
fixie with an srm only works with a pro (am gets bad data). no negative watts, just zero. the manual has a section about setting zo for fixie (they make a track crank too - see andy’s p3c track).
