I’ve seen the list of recommended items for HIM and/or IM races. Most of the items fit nicely in a really small seat bag - but what I’m still having problems with is where to fit the biggest items - the 2 spare tubes.
Does anyone have pics of their race day spare set-up?
why two spare tubes? why not one tube, one patch kit, & two 16g CO2 cartridges?
How about one in the bag and one in a jersey pocket?
I use the same setup for training and racing.
Medium seatbag
1 tube
2 16oz co2 cartridges
Mini pump/c02 adapter (one of the new mini carbon ones about the size of a rod pretzel)
self-stick patch kit
Quickstick tire lever
couple of allen wrenches (seat, stem size)
I’ll just throw the extra tube in the back of my race jersey in transition and I’m ready to go

Thanks for the recommendation. The jersey pocket is a good idea. I don’t think I can fit one in the seat bag though - it is pretty small.
I saw a pic where someone duct taped the spare tubes to their top tube. I don’t know that I am down for that.
Any other ideas out there?
